Valimenta Gives Back
Valimenta is involved in several charities working to make the world a little bit better. Below are the organizations we are aligning with to help veterans and classrooms in various ways. Learn more about each of these critical organizations below.
Veterans Steppin’ Out
This organization provides free dance lessons to veterans and their partners in an effort to provide a space for veterans to gather and heal from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Members of their group have overwhelmingly reported that this class has reduced their anxiety, helped them feel more comfortable going out in public, and has improved their marriages, among other benefits.
Valimenta is the sole financial sponsor of this organization.
Low-income classroom support
Valimenta looks to help schools, specifically in Denver and Seattle, by donating science materials through Donors Choose, an organization that connects people to local classrooms in need of financial aid.
Team Rubicon
Team Rubicon is a non-profit, veteran-led organization whose primary mission is to provide disaster relief to those affected by natural disasters. By pairing the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, medical professionals, and technology solutions, Team Rubicon aims to provide the greatest service and impact possible.
Valimenta’s owners, Emek and Mallory Blair, are members of Team Rubicon, and Valimenta is a financial donor.
